PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spin injection magnetism inverting element that can perform more than ternary multi-value recording and is easy to manufacture. SOLUTION: The spin injection magnetism inverting element has a ferromagnetism fixed layer 13 whose magnetism is substantially fixed in a first direction, a nonmagnetic isolation layer 14, and two or more ferromagnetism free layers 15, 16, and 17 which are changeable in direction of magnetism. The ferromagnetism fixed layer 13 is disposed on one main surface of the isolation layer 14, and the ferromagnetism free layers 15, 16, and 17 are disposed each in contact with the other main surface. The ferromagnetism free layers 15, 16, and 17 are preferably different in all of film thickness, magnetism inversion critical current density, and coercive force.
