Disclosed is a piece of furniture comprising at least one drawer (1) which is movable along an extensible guide. At least one electric drive unit (11) is provided for moving the drawer (1). Said at least one drive unit (11) is integrated into a sidewall (5) of the drawer (1) while a driving means (13, 16) penetrates the sidewall (5) at least in part, thus making it possible to create an automatic drive unit while keeping the design compact.
