PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording device and an inkjet recording method which can satisfy a user to both image quality and recording rate without degradation of image quality accompanying a discharge amount control. SOLUTION: A setting change of a driving pulse for discharge amount control can be performed at suitable timing differently according to a recording mode. Thereby, both the image quality and the recording rate can satisfy the user while responding to needs of a recording mode without degradation of the image quality accompanying the discharge amount control.
