PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a square end mill, favorably finishing the corner part with a favorable perpendicularity in machining the corner part of high-hardness material whose hardness HRC is 60 or more. SOLUTION: In this square end mill for machining high-hardness material with high accuracy, the square end mill is a pin angle, in a front view of the square end mill, the cutting face on the corner side of a bottom blade 3 is the cutting face of an outer peripheral blade 2, the cutting face on the rotation center side of the bottom blade 3 is formed of an end gash face 4, and the rake angle of the outer peripheral blade is set to 0°or less.
