<p>[PROBLEMS] To provide a light emitting device in which brightness can be increased and electric power can be saved; and its manufacturing method. [MEANS FOR SOLVING THE PROBLEMS] This light emitting device comprises a light emitting element (2) provided with electrode pads (9, 10) and a lead frame (3) provided with electrode leads (11, 12). The electrode pads (9, 10) are electrically connected to the electrode leads (11, 12) through bonding wires (14, 15). The light emitting element (2) is disposed at an interval (H) between itself and the lead frame (3). Thereby, the efficiency of using the light emitted from the light emitting element (2) can be increased by effectively using the light emitted from the surface of the light emitting element (2) facing the lead frame (3).</p> |
