PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photographing apparatus which can remove dust attached to its surface without damaging the surface of an optical member or an image sensor cover member, and prevents the optical member or the cover member from falling off from a member to fix it. SOLUTION: In a single lens reflex digital camera; a space between the optical member 19 and an optical filter 11, and a space formed between the optical filter 11 and the cover member 15d of a solid-state imaging apparatus 15, are separated from the outside. A target at which dust is attached as a cause of shadow reflection in a photographed image is a surface (light incident surface) of the optical member 19. A source/drain electrode 63 is formed on the surface of the optical member 19, and surface elastic waves are excited on the surface of the optical member 19 if an AC voltage is applied to the source/drain electrode 63.
