A variable apparatus of the turn number of a steering wheel for a steer-by-wire system is provided to contribute driving sense improvement by actually reproducing driving sense of an existing steering system, and to reproduce function of a conventional VRS device by mechanically changing the turn number of the steering wheel of the steer-by-wire system. A variable apparatus of the turn number of a steering wheel for a steer-by-wire system comprises a rotation member(200), a transfer nut(300), a slide member(315), a frame(400), a case(41), a solenoid member(42) and a spring(43). The rotation member is attached to a steering shaft and a screw thread is cut on its outer circumference. The transfer nut is bolted to the rotation member and moved in a length direction of the rotation member. The slide member is mounted on an outer circumference of the transfer nut. The frame forms a slit(410) for moving the slide member in the length direction of the rotation member. The case is installed in one side of the frame. The solenoid member is installed in a lower part and an upper part inside the case. The spring is compressed and expanded according to sliding of the solenoid member.
