PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a trans-axle for a vehicle capable of discharging foreign matter such as water and dust by exhausting air in a damper chamber during the low speed travel or stop of the vehicle. SOLUTION: A communicating pipe 48 is provided to be opened close to an exhaust port 38 and to communicate with an intake pipe 46 of an engine 16 mounted on the vehicle. The air in the damper chamber 20 is thereby exhausted efficiently even in comparison with natural exhaust by the action of negative pressure of the intake pipe 46 during the low speed travel or stop of the vehicle, and the foreign matter can be discharged.
