PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gather curtain that is easily manufactured and functionally reliable. SOLUTION: The gather curtain possesses a winding shaft 3 and a plurality of pull cords 5 which are fastened in each case at an upper end to the winding shaft 3 by means of a holding element 13. Starting from this holding element 13, the pull cords 5 can in each case be wound onto the winding shaft 3. The holding elements 13 are in each case arranged releasably on a winding body 4 which has a winding surface 12 between two guide parts 23, 23' arranged at a distance from one another in such a way that the pull cords 5 can in each case be wound directly onto the winding body 4 without deflection. The two guide parts 23, 23' control the pull cords 5 such that the latter are wound between these in one or more layers.
