PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine capable of improving work efficiency in changing setting values. SOLUTION: A slot machine has a main control device 131 integrally controlling a game. Signals from various sensors are input in the main control device 131. When a prescribed condition is satisfied, the main control device 131 drives a stepping motor 61 to start the rotation of respective reels. On the other hand, when signals indicating the operation of stop switches 72-74 are input from stop detecting sensors 72a-74a or a prescribed time elapses, the main control device drives the stepping motor 61 again to stop the rotation of the respective reels. This constitution has a backup area 157 in RAM 153 of the main control device 131. The backup area 157 has a protection area and data stored in the protection area are formed not to be cleared when changing the setting values of the slot machine. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
