A display apparatus is provided to improve productivity by minimizing an error rate and performing easily a reworking operation in an assembling process. A backlight unit(400) emits light. A display panel(100) is loaded on the backlight unit and displays images by receiving the light. The backlight unit includes a reception vessel(350), a light guide plate(230) and a cover(320). The reception vessel includes a bottom surface and sidewalls extended from the bottom surface. The sidewalls include a first sidewall having a first coupling part and a second sidewall having an opening. The second sidewall is one of sidewalls adjacent to the first sidewall. The light guide plate is loaded into the inside of the reception vessel through the opening into the inside of the reception vessel. The light guide plate includes a second coupling part corresponding to the first coupling part in order to prevent ejection from the reception vessel. The cover is coupled with the second sidewall in order to cover the opening. |
