<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide alumina-silica brick for CDQ excellent in thermal shock resistance and abrasion resistance, usable as brick for being constructed at the prechamber lower end of CDQ even when operating conditions of CDQ are in a higher temperature zone than conventionals. <P>SOLUTION: The alumina-silica brick uses a fire-resistant material compound, wherein the compound contains 5-40 mass% mullite and 5-30 mass% amorphous silica as fire-resistant materials of ≥1 mm particle size and 5-30 mass% alumina as a fire-resistant material of ≤1 mm and the remainder comprises an alumina-silica fire-resistant material compound. The thermal shock resistance is increased by using the mullite and the amorphous silica and the abrasion resistance is increased by using the alumina. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
