<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel remaining amount indicating system correctly measuring the remaining amount of fuel, without the need of provision of a float for detecting the remaining amount in a fuel tank. <P>SOLUTION: In a fuel remaining amount indicating system indicating the fuel remaining amount in the fuel tank 2 incorporated in an automobile 1, for an occupant of the automobile, supplied oil amount information A is received from a GS side antenna 30 by means of a vehicle body side antenna 10, and a fuel consumption detection result B consumed by an engine 3 is detected from an engine ECU 11 for controlling an injection amount of a fuel injector 7 attached to the engine 3. Based on the supplied oil amount information A and the fuel consumption detection result B, the main ECU 20 calculates the fuel remaining amount C(C=A-B) in the fuel tank 2, and a fuel meter 15 indicates the fuel remaining amount C based on the calculation result. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
