PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce manufacturing cost while maintaining high operability wherein information is inputted by a depressing operation and an operation linked therewith. SOLUTION: The information input device 1 is composed of: a base 11; a base plate 12 slidably provided on the bottom surface of the recessed part 11A of the base 11; a key pad 13 mounted on the base plate 12; and a control part 14. The control part 14 performs the processing of defining that A is inputted when the entire key pad 13 together with the base plate 12 is slid upwards in the direction of an arrow A, defining that B is inputted when it is slid in a left direction in the direction of an arrow B and defining that C is inputted when it is slid in a right direction in the direction of an arrow C while pressing the key "1".
