METHOD FOR ENCODING USING PARITY CHECK MATRIX

An encoding method using a parity check matrix is provided to reduce a decoding complexity by performing an encoding process using a model matrix with a low triangle property. An information bit, which is to be transmitted to a receiver side, is encoded by using a parity check matrix, which includes a systematic part and a parity part. The encoded signal is transmitted to the receiver side. The parity part is designed according to a lower triangle type. The parity check matrix is expanded from a model matrix, which includes plural sub-blocks. A dual diagonal component in the parity part of the model matrix is a sub-block, which corresponds to an identity matrix.
