PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control method and a control device in occurrence of abnormality in communication caused by variations of characteristic of elements loaded on the control device, in reading out the correction data for uniforming the output characteristics from an external storage device. SOLUTION: This control device performs the control to keep the minimum performance or accuracy on the basis of predetermined initial data without completely stopping a controlled apparatus, even in a case when the control correction data of a load driving circuit stored in the external storage device can not be read because of the abnormality in communication of the external storage device of a microcomputer.
