<p>Polyamide molding material (I) containing (A) 70-99 wt% transparent homo- and/or co-polyamide(s), (B) 1-30 wt% other polymer(s) and optionally (C) other pigments and/or additives, in which the other polymer (B) is a polyester-amide and the light transmission of a plate with a thickness of 2 mm made from (I) is at least 88%. Independent claims are included for (1) transparent objects (II) with at least one zone or layer made from (I) (2) a method for the production of (I) by mixing the granulated components (A) and (B), processing in an extruder at 220-350[deg]C and granulating the extruded strand, preferably (for transparent moldings) using an extruder with a melt filter consisting of sieves in the form of discs or cartridge filters and optionally adding additives during compounding, such as processing stabilisers, pigments, UV absorbers, thermal stabilisers, fire retardants, other transparent polyamides or polyamide 12 (3) a method for the production of objects (II) by extrusion, injection blow molding, injection molding, or back-injection .</p> |
