PURPOSE: A plasma display panel having barriers including electrodes is provided to improve light-emitting efficiency and contrast of the panel by improving the structure of the panel and to selectively control discharge cells by improving the structure of electrodes. CONSTITUTION: A plasma display panel includes address electrodes(220), X-electrodes(X1,X2,X3), Y-electrodes(Y1,Y2), which intersect the address electrodes, a plurality of discharge cells formed by the address electrodes, X-electrodes and Y-electrodes, and barriers(240) for defining the discharge cells. The X-electrodes and Y-electrodes are alternately formed in the barriers. The X-electrodes and Y-electrodes correspond to the barriers one to one. |
