The system has a support arm for seating two high-pressure gas cylinders (18) and including an U-shaped protective clamp (4) placed above valves of the cylinders. A receptacle is provided between the cylinders for a counterweight that is pushed from a carrying handle. A cover plate is provided at a side of a bevel, where the space between the bevel and the plate accommodates pneumatic or electrical components of a breathing equipment.
