<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink for recording, having excellent preservation stability of the ink, and image fastness such as abrasion resistance, water resistance and light resistance, providing high-quality image obtained by excellent jetting stability and having excellent color reproductivity of a color image, and suitable for inkjet recording; and to provide an ink cartridge using the ink for the recording, an inkjet recording method and an inkjet recording apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The ink for the recording contains at least composite pigment particles, a water-soluble solvent and water, and the composite particle is obtained by covering a primary particle obtained by allowing an oil-soluble dye to be adsorbed or attached on the surface of a white pigment with a covering resin. Preferably, the white pigment is selected from a white inorganic pigment, a pearl pigment and an extender pigment in one embodiment, and in another embodiment, the covering resin is one of a (meth)acrylic resin, a polyester resin and a polyurethane resin, and the acid value of the covering resin is 50-250 mg-KOH/g. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
