PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact battery protective module, regarding battery protection module that is constituted so that a protection circuit chip, having the protective functions for protecting a battery from abnormal state and a transistor chip, provided between the battery and a load so as to disconnect the battery from the load by the protection functions of the protection circuit chip are mounted on a circuit substrate, and to provide a battery protecting system. SOLUTION: The battery protecting module is constituted so that at least a protection circuit having the protection functions for protecting the battery from the abnormal state and a switching element provided between the battery and the load so as to disconnect the battery from the load while being switched by the protection functions of the protection circuit are mounted on the circuit board. Both the protection circuit and switching element are constituted of bare chips and are constituted so as to limit the protection functions that are used by the protection circuit; and the switching element is constituted of a single element that is switched by the protection functions used by the protection circuit.
