PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent leakage of ink by surely covering an ink introduction opening when shipped, transported and stored, and also to prevent ink adhering to the ink introduction opening due to the replacement of an ink cartridge 60 from being transferred to the ink cartridge side. SOLUTION: An ink supply valve 65 at the rear face of the ink cartridge 60 is fitted in and connected to the cylindrical ink introduction opening 63 formed at the back side of a storage case body 74. An end face of a guide cylinder 65a in the periphery of the ink supply valve 65 lies between the periphery of the ink introduction opening 63 and the inner peripheral side than guide ribs 69a and 69b. The ink drops traces down the rear face of a connecting body 62 via an ink escape hole 71 bored in the internal diameter part of a stopper face 72.
