<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface-emitting device in which a linear light source device arranged with a plurality of light-emitting elements is prepared as a light source, and light from the linear light source device is guided to a light guide plate, in order to perform surface emission, capable of preventing the occurrence of the so-called "eyespot" that a light-emitting surface becomes bright only near the light source, and to attain uniform surface light emission, and to provide a method of manufacturing the same. <P>SOLUTION: The surface-emitting device 1 has the linear light source device 2 arranged with the plurality of light emitting elements as the light source, and performs surface emission, by guiding the light from the linear light source device 2 to the light guide plate 3. On a light-emitting surface side of the light guide plate 3, a diffusion sheet 8, having shaders 12 as a mask pattern which are formed on positions corresponding respective positions of the plural light emitting elements, is prepared. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
