PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bone marrow cell mobilizer functioning to mobilize bone marrow cells including stem cells and/or precursor cells existing in bone marrow to peripheral blood or a damaged tissue, or to provide a method for mobilizing the bone marrow cells. SOLUTION: The bone marrow cell mobilizer is a prostaglandin I<SB>2</SB>derivative such as iloprost, epoprostenol sodium, carbacyclin, cicaprost, eptaprost, ataprost or beraprost. By administering such a medicament as to comprise particularly beraprost sodium as active ingredient, bone marrow cells including stem cells and/or precursor cells are mobilized in peripheral blood or damaged organ(s).
