<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To jointly measure the blood pressure when measuring the blood vessel diameter. <P>SOLUTION: This method of blood vessel diameter measurement using echo is characterized in applying a cuff pressure at a first site in an arm part of a measuring object person to stop the blood flow for a prescribed time, releasing the cuff pressure, capturing an echo image of a prescribed blood vessel flowing a second site in the arm part of the measuring object person at prescribed timings before applying the cuff pressure and after releasing the cuff pressure, measuring the diameter of the blood vessel based on the echo image, and also measuring the blood pressure of the measuring object person during the pressure control of the cuff pressure. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
