PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foamy aerosol type hair wax uniformly applicable when used for hair, affording a flexible uniform finish and having good persistence of the hairstyle without causing flaking and excellent hair re-styling properties of simply arranging the hairstyle to the original when the hairstyle is out of shape. SOLUTION: The foamy aerosol type hair wax is characterized as follows. (a) A film-forming resin is formulated with (b) an ester oil and (c) a compound in which carboxy groups at both terminals of an oligomer ester of a dimer acid with a dimer diol are esterified with isostearyl alcohol.
