GLASS FIBER CUTTING BLADE, ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD AND CUTTING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass fiber cutting blade capable of suppressing weld strain at manufacturing of the cutting blade and realizing a stable cutting quality for a long period of time, its manufacturing method, and a glass fiber cutting apparatus equipped with the glass fiber cutting blade. SOLUTION: The glass fiber cutting blade 10 is composed of an edge part 10a for cutting a glass fiber and a base part 10b supporting the edge part 10a. Nickel-containing parts 10c and 10d of the edge part 10a and/or the base part 10b contain tungsten carbide (WC) particles with an average particle size of 0.20-0.85μm. In the manufacturing method of the glass fiber cutting blade 10, the edge part 10a and the base part 10b are joined by pressure welding using a brazing filler metal.
