The device has a locking element (16) and a retaining element (18), where one of the elements is movable in a moving direction relative to the other element. The relative movement between the locking element and the retaining element causes fixation of the retaining element to a component e.g. casing of a belt winding mechanism, during connection of another component e.g. frame of the belt winding mechanism, with the former component. The locking element and the retaining element are integrally connected with one another before the relative motion.
