PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recorder which prevents a nozzle from being clogged, and also reduces the need for replacement of a filter. SOLUTION: The inkjet recorder is provided with: an ink tank for storing ink; a recording head for discharging the ink; and an ink supply tube for supplying the ink from the ink tank to the recording head. The inkjet recorder includes an ink reservoir for temporarily storing the ink in the middle of the ink supply tube; and an in-tube air removing unit consisting of a discharge tube which is connected to the ink reservoir and removes air and foreign matters of the ink in the reservoir and a suction mechanism for forced discharge.
