PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot cleansing preparation that has excellent cleansing and rinsability and gives sufficient hot feeling in use and good feeling after cleansing. SOLUTION: The hot cleansing preparation comprises a compound (a), a polyhidric alcohol (b) such as glycerol, a nonionic surfactant (c) of a polyoxyethylene sorbitan fatty acid ester type having an HLB higher than 12 and a nonionic surfactant (d) of a polyoxyethylene-cured castor oil type having an HLB higher than 10, wherein the compound (a) is a condensed triglyceride of a mixture of 2-4C oxyalkylenes; (a), (b), (c) and (d) are contained at a predetermined ratio; and the sum of (a) and (b) is 50 to 90% by mass.
