The article has a decorative part (2) with a lower side fastened to a mounting surface (1). Another decorative part (5) with a lower side is fastened to an upper side (4) of the decorative part (2). The decorative parts form an arrangement, which is related to the article of living environment. The decorative part (5) works with a separating machine e.g. laser cutting machine. The decorative part (2) and/or a three-dimensional component are fastened to an upper side (9) of the decorative part (5). An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a decorative article.
