<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-proof case capable of preventing a liquid such as water from intruding into it through a clearance between a box body and a cover member mounted to the box body. <P>SOLUTION: The water-proof case is provided with the box body provided with an opening formed so as to be surrounded by a plurality of peripheral plates; a lid body and a grommet mounted to the box body and closing the opening mounted to the box body; and a sealing member 5 formed in an annular shape and mounted to the lid body to water-tightly retain a clearance between the box body and the lid body. A notch part is formed on one peripheral plate. The grommet is mounted to the box body and closes the notch part when it is mounted to the box body.
