INNER SURFACE COATED STEEL PIPE FOR WATER PIPING

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inner surface coated steel pipe for water piping of which the inner surface coating layer shows excellent water-resistant adhesiveness in a water contact environment.

SOLUTION: A resin layer based on a silane modified polyolefinic resin is formed to the inner surface of a steel pipe and a phosphate chemical forming treatment layer is preferably formed as the lower layer of the resin layer. The inner surface coating layer shows excellent water-resistant adhesiveness without using a thermosetting primer or chromic acid not preferable from an environmental or sanitary aspect.
