PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize evaluation concerning validity of a file efficiently and objectively. SOLUTION: The file evaluation system opens a file Fdli downloaded at a client terminal 102 by corresponding application and performs copy operation of data in the file Fdli (501). The OS (Operating System) transfers data copied by the copy operation (501) to a clip board (502). An agent detects the transfer (503), and memorizes information of transfer origin (file path) (504). Later on, there is an operation of paste indication (505), the application pastes data transferred to the clip board to another file (506). The agent detects the paste indication (505) (507), and writes in a time-stamp Sdp which becomes date and time of that time to file information DB 400 finding a clue to the file path (508).
