The blower has an electric motor (2) with a motor shaft, and an impeller (5) arranged at ends (3, 4) of the motor shaft. The ends are arranged opposite to each other, where the blower has an area of low pressure in an intake current path in-front of the impeller and an area of high pressure in the intake current path behind the impeller. The intake current path is formed in-front of each impeller and an output (9) is formed by a housing (11). The housing encloses the complete blower arrangement.
