A method for calculating a standard index using SDPTG(Second Derivative of PhotopleThysmoGraphy) is provided to allow most people to understand a result of a checkup for vascular aging by quantitatively showing the checkup for the vascular aging. A method for calculating a standard index using SDPTG includes the steps of: calculating an SDPTG by measuring a PTG(PhotopleThysmoGraphy) of subjects from a plurality of groups, extracting negative and positive peaks, designating the peaks in sequence as a, b, c, d, e, and designating appearance times of the a, b, c, d, e as Ta, Tb, Tc, Td, Te(S10); extracting each analysis index by using the negative and positive peaks and the appearance time of each peak(S20); designating a mean value and a standard deviation of each analysis index(S30); and completing the standard index(Ti) of each analysis index(S40).
