PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioning/power generating system capable of generating power in another outdoor machine even when an outdoor machine as a main machine among the plurality of outdoor machines can not transmit data. SOLUTION: This air conditioning/power generating system has the plurality of outdoor machines respectively comprising an engine for driving a compressor on the basis of air conditioning load, a power generator driven by excess power of the engine, and a system interconnecting invertor controlling the increase and decrease of power generation of the power generator on the basis of incoming electric power from a commercial power source. The plurality of outdoor machines have at least one main outdoor machine functioned as the main machine, and at least one alternative outdoor machine functioned as an alternative machine of the main outdoor machine, the main outdoor machine and the alternative outdoor machine respectively receive the information on incoming electric power, the main outdoor machine transmits the information on incoming electric power to the alternative outdoor machine and the other outdoor machines, and the alternative outdoor machine detects transmission of information on incoming electric power from the main outdoor machine, and alternatively transmits the information on incoming electric power to the other outdoor machines for the main outdoor machine, when the transmission is not detected.
