摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a docking system which can be docked with a self-propelling robot without using any structure other than a track or station in advance, and corrects the self position of the self-propelling robot after docking. SOLUTION: This docking system is provided with a station 30 equipped with a light emitting part 32 configured so that the axis of the rays of light generated by light emitting elements arranged like a circular arc can pass through the center of curvature of a circular arc and a first connection terminal 34 for docking. This docking system is also provided with a self-propelling robot 10 equipped with a main body part having a circular-arc section having the same curvature radius as that of the circular arc; a moving mechanism 15 for moving the main body part; a first control part 20 for generating a movement path based on the location of the station and map information, and for controlling the self-propelling robot to self-travel to the neighborhood region of the station; a light receiving part 11 for receiving an optical signal from the light emitting part; a direction detecting part 13 for detecting the direction of the optical signal; a second control part 14 for controlling the main body part to move to the direction detected by the direction detecting part 13; and a second connection terminal 24 for docking.
