A spindle motor is provided to expand a life span by preventing oil, which flows upward from a bearing along an interference of a rotation axis and the bearing, from being leaked. A spindle motor includes a bearing housing(110), a bearing(120), a rotation axis(130), a stator(140), a rotor(150), a turn-table(160), a first stopper(170), and a second stopper. An upper plane of the bearing housing(110) is opened. The bearing(120) is installed on the inside of the bearing housing(110). Oil is impregnated into the bearing(120). The rotation axis(130) is rotatably supported by the bearing(120). The stator(140) is fixed on an outer plane of the bearing housing(110). The rotor(150) is fixed on the rotation axis(130), and is rotated by an operation with the stator(140). The turn-table(160) is fixed on the rotation axis(130), and is rotated in the same direction with the rotation axis. A disk is mounted on the turn-table(160). The first stopper(170) is fixed on an outer plane of the rotation axis of an upper part of the bearing(120). The first stopper(170) guides the oil to drop toward the bearing(120) by blocking the oil which flows upward along an interface of the bearing(120) and the rotation axis(130). The second stopper is fixed on an internal plane of the bearing housing(110), and wraps the first stopper(170). The second stopper prevents the oil existed on the upper plane of the bearing(120) from being leaked to an outer side of the bearing housing(110). |
