摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery having high capacity and excelling in a cycle characteristic. <P>SOLUTION: In this manufacturing method of a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery provided with a positive electrode having a positive electrode active material, a negative electrode having a negative electrode active material, and a nonaqueous electrolyte having a nonaqueous solvent and an electrolyte salt, the charging potential of the positive electrode is 4.4-5.1 V based on lithium; the nonaqueous electrolyte further has a compound forming a coating by reacting with the negative electrode active material; and a cycle for executing charging until the potential of the positive electrode is set higher than 3.0 V and not higher than 4.3 V, and thereafter executing discharging until the potential of the positive electrode is set to 2.8-3.1 V is executed one or more times, and thereafter charging is executed again until the potential of the positive electrode is set not lower than 4.4 V. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
