<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an order quantity determination system for determining an order quantity achieving efficient production without generating any remainder. <P>SOLUTION: The order quantity determination program acquires information for a steel product related to order receipt (S1); acquires information for all processes necessary for producing the steel product from a material from a process table (S2); acquires information for a production weight range producible in each process from a weight range table (S3); calculates, based on the information for a production amount range producible in each process, a single material weight for producing the steel product without generating any remainder in each process, which has the highest evaluation based on weight evaluation value information, as a unit optimum order quantity (S4); and determines a total order quantity based on the unit optimum order quantity (S6). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
