PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary connector device which is fixed between a fixed member and a rotary operation member and in which an occurrence of irregular noise or the like with the rotary operation member can be prevented even if a neutral position is released after the rotary operation member is installed. SOLUTION: The rotary connector device is provided with a stator 2, a rotor 3 and temporary fixing structure part 11 to connect temporarily a rotor with a neutral position against a stator. The temporary fixing is released or fixed temporarily by a neutral releasing member 6 provided on the rotating operation member 5. The temporary fixing structure part is composed of a neutral fixing member 13 which is released from a connection with, or is connected with, a connecting part 2a which is arranged on an upper face of the rotor and one end of which is rotated when it is pushed by the neutral releasing member and the other end of which is formed on the stator and a moderation structure 14 which is arranged between the neutral fixing member and the rotor and holds the neutral fixing member either at a position of a temporary fixing position or a temporary releasing fixing position and separates the neutral releasing member from the neutral fixing member.
