PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical film which is suitable for an optical filter disposed on the front face (the viewer's side) of a plasma display panel and used, which is provided with an excellent near infrared ray absorption property and a color tone correction performance compatible with each other in the one layer, and which is excellent in practical durability and production stability. SOLUTION: The optical film is characterized in that it has the layer composed of a transparent resin containing an anthraquinone coloring matter and a diimmonium coloring matter.
