PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve further expansion of a raindrop detecting region, while keeping miniaturization. SOLUTION: In this raindrop sensor 1, a prism 5 has first and second lens surfaces 19, 21, 23 and 25 on a light-emitting side and a light-detecting side; each being provided on different optical axes of two directions and is equipped with a first reflecting wall 27 for reflecting the light incident on the first lens surface 19 on the light-emitting side to the first detection surfaces 33 and 37 of a window/shield/panel 11 and a second reflecting wall 29 for reflecting the light, which is incident from the second lens surface 21 onto the light-emitting side and is reflected by the second detecting surfaces 35 and 39 of the window/shield/panel 11, to the second lens surface 25 on the light-detecting side and constituted so as not only to condense and make the lights reflected by the first detection surfaces 33 and 37 incident on a light-detecting element 9 from the first lens surface 23 on the light-detecting side, and also to condense and make the lights reflected by the second detection surfaces 35 and 39 incident to the light-detecting element 9 from the second lens surface 23 by reflection, at the second reflecting wall 29.
