PAPER FEEDING DEVICE AND PAPER FEEDING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent overflow and interruption of feeding of a flow rate leveling part and to enhance uniformness of a flow rate at a downstream conveying part and throughput of the whole device. SOLUTION: The paper feeding device is provided with the flow rate leveling part 30 for temporarily accumulating the papers 1 fed from an upstream conveying part 20 and feeding the accumulated papers 1 to the downstream conveying part 40 while picking up them in every constant amount. The device detects an accumulation amount of the papers in the flow rate leveling part 30 at the multi-stage and controls a conveying speed of the papers 1 at the upstream conveying part 20 at the multi-stage based on the detected accumulation amount.
