<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording material which has a high absorbency and a coloring nature of a pigment ink, without making an ink acceptance layer surface produce a crack. <P>SOLUTION: In the inkjet recording material formed by sequentially coating/drying each coating liquid of a pigment layer, and one or more ink acceptance layers on at least one side of a gas permeability support, a silicate soda is contained in this pigment layer, and the first ink acceptance layer directly applied on this pigment layer contains an inorganic ultrafine particle, a hydrophilic binder and a boric acid or borate at least. It is preferred that a second average of an inorganic particle contained in this pigment layer is 1.2 μm or more to 15 μm or less, and that an oil absorption expressed by JIS-K5101 is 140 ml/100 g or more to 330 ml/100 g or less. It is preferred that pH of the pigment layer coating liquid is 8 or more to 12 or less, and that pH of the first ink acceptance layer applied directly on this pigment layer is 3 or more to 5 or less. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
