PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent battery power from being wastefully consumed, while improving the calculation accuracy of the battery remaining amount. SOLUTION: Wasteful power loss and deterioration in calculation accuracy can be prevented, by connecting a fixed-current load part to the output side of a power supply part so that the load power becomes fixed, regardless of the battery remaining amount. Calculation accuracy can be improved by changing the power supply part, to which the fixed-current load part is connected, as required. Accordingly, a battery remaining amount calculation method and electronic equipment that attains reduction in the power loss and improvement in the accuracy of remaining-amount calculation can be provided.
