PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shock absorbing structure of a two wheeled vehicle, which shock absorbing structure can suppress the forward movement of a rider in collision, and also can absorb the shock to be applied to the rider. SOLUTION: The shock absorbing structure 10 is composed of a supporting post 30 formed so as to elongate from a vehicle body frame 17 in parallel to a handle post 12, and a shock absorbing member 40 which is put and fixed on a first supporting plate 32 fixed to the upper end of the supporting post 30, and contains a speed meter 42 serving as an instrument. The shock absorbing structure 10 can suppress the forward movement of the rider as much as possible because the shock absorbing member 40 is attached on the upper portion of the supporting post 30 elongating from the vehicle body frame 17 in parallel to the handle post 12.
