PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device having a drawing wiring with an excellent reliability, and to provide a method of manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: The image display device 10 is provided with an organic EL panel 20, an anode drawing wiring 31, an anode protection layer 32, an anode resin film 33, an anode IC 34, an anode TCP 35, a cathode drawing wiring 36, a cathode protection layer 37, a cathode resin film, a cathode IC 39, and a cathode TCP 40. Since the anode protection layer 32 and the cathode protection layer 37 are respectively formed, and furthermore the anode resin layer 33 and the cathode resin layer 38 are formed, on the anode drawing wiring 31 formed between the organic EL panel 20 and the anode TCP 35 and on the cathode drawing wiring 36 formed between the organic EL panel 20 and the cathode TCP 40, the anode drawing wiring 31 and the cathode drawing wiring 36 are protected from the external environment, thereby corrosion can be suppressed excellently.
