An electric connecting terminal is provided to install a dedicated tongue member to be in contact with a locking lance, thereby having no influence on the spring characteristic of a driving contact portion according to a degree of the contact with the locking lance. A conductive metal plate is formed to be punched and bent. A connecting portion(11) is installed to receive the inserted connection terminal of the other party in the front. A wire compressing portion(12) is installed to connect with a wire in the rear. The connecting portion is formed with a square cylinder shape and is surrounded by a base plate(13), side plates(14,15) connected and installed in both sides of the base plate, and a roof plate(16) connected and installed to the side plate of a party. A driving contact portion with a projection shape is extended from the rear end of the roof plate to the rear. The driving contact portion is refolded to the inside of the connecting portion in parallel with the roof plate by a boundary between the driving contact portion and the roof plate as a base portion.
